Hi,
I'm a National master. Recently, I attempted several times to play the Titled Tuesday and have some fun, hopefully playing with some very strong players and learn something.
I sent the form 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for any response. I sent it again this morning and still the same. For 3 times I have attempted to join the Titled Tuesday, but somehow, I can't because of the verification process.
Is there any suggestion on how to do? Thanks

You might try a support ticket as well, but be sure you've checked your spam folders to make sure staff didn't contact you looking for additional information.

Five days have passed, still nothing. They do remind me to renew my diamond membership though. There's always time to remind to spend money lol

That reminder is automatic. The staff that do title verifications are apparently really busy. I've been seeing some that have been taking three or more weeks to finalize.

Let's see, it's been 3 weeks now for me.
Just a bit frustrating because now I have time to play the Titled Arena, during the Christmas holiday. Anyway, it's a selfie, an ID and I also sent them the links to FIDE and my national federation on my player's page. There's a letter M right under "title".
I do understand they might be busy. I respect their work, but 3 weeks to verify this still seems a bit odd to me.
Anyway, title or not, Merry Christmas everyone. See you around.

Another titled Tuesday, another one that I cannot play. Four Titled Tuesdays gone, still waiting to be verified and play one. Next one will be my last attempt before getting back to work, not having the chance to play anymore.
Really frustrating to think that what you have to do is to check the selfie, the passport and letter "M" on the national chess federation website...

Tomorrow it will be last Titled Tuesday I can play before getting back to work.
I am ok with it, I know I won't be playing. I will be watching Hikaru winning again and I will enjoy my time.
One thing I have to say though: I am extremely disappointed in chess.com and in the chess community in general.
In one month, I have only had one official answer from Mr. Rakesh: "can you send us the link to your profile showing NM title?".
I got this mail 12 days ago, on the 16th of December. I replied the same day, with the link.
After that, silence. I wrote back on the 22nd of December, asking if there was any update. No answer.
I have sent another email on the 24th to ask for an update and wish a merry Christmas. Nothing. Not even a small line to say they are busy but will look into it. I've been completely ignored and disregarded.
Verify my title, do not verify my title. It's all good.
I do wish you happy holidays and a great new year, with the hope that you will treat better the new generation of chess players joining this community.

and of course when magnus carlsen speedruns chess.com with the account MenuGarden they have time to give him the GM title in the first 5 mins

I DM'd you 10 days ago and relayed your request myself via moderation channels.
I just saw your new post and have relayed the information again, adding a screenshot of your federation status.
I can't speak for staff but I have to assume any delay in treating your request is related to the fact that we are in the holiday period and there has been a tremendous influx of new members.

sorry, I didn't understand you were a moderator, I thought you were a fellow chess player trying to help.

I appreciate your help. I wouldn't really say that it is because of the Christmas holiday, since my first form was sent on the 1st of December, so still quite far from the holiday period.

Great website, top players around, very good features (I love puzzle rush), but 1 month and still a title has not been verified. I hope that my case will give you (I mean chess.com) food for thought, because I'm sure that you spend a lot to give a top notch service, then you have unhappy customers like me, for silly things. A virtual assistant on Upwork or Fiverr for $300 a month and my title and many other small queries would have been solved in a few hour.

I hope you don't take it as an offense or me trying to tell how to run a business. Just a small feedback from a (currently) unhappy customer.

I am a titled player (FM) as well and encounter the same problem right now. I submitted the form already at the beginning of July, more than five weeks ago, and unfortunately didn't receive any answer yet. I wrote an email already, too. I have to say that I am very mildly disappointed, but it seems that I am not the only person with this problem. If it were my mistake, I would also like to know what went wrong. Looking forward to playing various great chess.com events which is unfortunately not possible right now.
