Hi,

I receive a email from chess.com who offer me a free membership trial to try new improvements on the web site.

Links dosn't seems to work and bring me on a google docs form.

No sign of this promo on the web site. Is this a spam?

Thanks for your help.

It is likely that this was a spam since you are already a diamond member and there are no "free membership trials" for beta testing etc, and I'm sure chess.com doesn't send membership trials in doc files.

What was the exact e-mail address that you received the e-mail from?

I got this aswell. It is real and from us :)

xml

I got it too and accepted but only seem to be partially upgraded. Some features work, but I can only play 3 tactics trainer games per day.

Kerios

even the free thing doesn't work these days, just checkn in to see if its fine only to find the same old story and guess what.....akibua!!

azziralc

So it means that chess.com was offering free membership for 30 days. :D

azziralc

What is akibua?

Thanks!

azziralc

Do you now enjoyed the feature?

IS that offer is really free? No need to put a credit card number on it?

xml

I didn't need to put a credit card number in. I have previously paid for diamond membership but I got caught up with so much work that I haven't played for a while.

kohai

Yes it is really free and no, NO credit card is needed

neo-metacrash

When was this sent? I do not seem to have it.

If you have your Alerts & Emails setting checked on this

It's OK to email me about Chess.com news and announcements.

then you would have been emailed. If you have un-checked that box you won't have received it sorry.

azziralc

I didn't recieve it. On what email will I recieved it if possible? On my settings it says that alerts will send on "default contact" email adress. What that does mean?
