Twitch sub connect to Chess.com

Hi, I know you can apple to become an "official" Twitch streamer, but some promotional messages suggested you can link your Twitch account even if you are not streaming. I could not find such a "login with Twitch" option or similar on the site

You can link your Twitch but it isn't for logging in. Basic members that subscribe to the chess.com Twitch stream and link get an ad free chess.com.

You do that in Settings.

I did that but while I am not streaming, but was hosting my twictch was not shown on chess.com

What do you mean? Your twitch won't show on site.

My twitch account shows as being connected in the settings. However, the chess.com player cuts to commercials despite me being a paid subscriber to the twitch streamer.

Edit: Just disconnected and reconnected. will see how it goes.

Edit 2: Made no difference. Cuts to ad break.

The connection has nothing to do with ads on Twitch.

I was also lead to believe that simply connecting your twitch account would remove twitch ads through chess.com Guess i have to pay 15 a month for no ads.
