Other posts put the date to be able to delete some time in August---ish. What scares me is no year was given. 
lol

What I didn’t tell you in the forums is the auto-deletion, so anything you “delete” now, will just poof away when it’s updated :)

I think there is an auto-deletion system for members, come to think of it... I remember someone's account getting closed because he was posting things too fast, or something like that.
OK, here's the message I just got from Erik. We at Chess.com will NO LONGER delete messages from members WHO CAN'T LOOK AT THE MOST RECENT POST COLUMN. Thank you for flying with Chess.com

Hi staff,
I am unable to remove the messages in my chess inbox even after selecting them and deleting them. Please let me know when this bug is fixed.
Note: It is not my own computer as I tried it out on several devices.
