So I have a gold membership which is supposed to come with unlimited puzzles. But after 10 or so puzzles it tells me to upgrade to have unlimited puzzles. So I click the button and I just have the option to “manage” my already gold membership… am I missing something?

Gold memberships purchased before September 1st don't have unlimited puzzles. Those memberships kept their original features and pricing.

New purchases have the changed features and updated pricing.

Why even bother keeping these classic plans and confusing people.  Seems like more trouble than it's worth...

Just keep things simple. Move everyone to the new plans and eliminate the confusion.

Some meber plans had different features, so wholesale changing features on members isn't good either.

Ideally they would show the features the current plan has for old ones and for plan upgrades/changes have a way to show that too.

The simplest thing would have been to just move most people to the new plans.  For the small few that might have old plans that are better than the current offerings, you make an exception and leave their plan alone.

Anyhow, there probably isn't a strong case to change any of this.  It's just nit picking.
