UNwarranted wrong CVV prompt

I want to avail myself of the free 30 day trial of the chess.com diamond membership, so i clicked on the banner and started entering my debit card details. After entering every detail correctly, there's a prompt informing that the CVV entered is wrong. I have correctly entered it many times but the problem persists.  I don't know what to do.

Debit Card is a Visa one provided by PayTM payments bank and I have used it successfully on various other occasions.
