what does points mean in our chesspawn.pngprofiles?

GM_chess_player

Basically, it means how active you are on chess.com. You get a ''point'' if you comment on a forum, blog, or profile.

For example, I have been here for about 3 years, and I have 17,000 points.

so then what do you do with your points?

GM_chess_player

You can't do really anything with them. Long ago, when chess.com was just made, they said that if you earned 1000 points you get this gift. It was stopped after 2 weeks, and I don't know the reason why.

It’s a measure of how much time you waste on Chess.com

the gift was a t-shirt.

the reason it stopped appears to be that cc didn't want to encourage meaningless posts for a shirt.

see how well that has worked?

Chess.com points are just as valuable as the points awarded on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
