What to do when a Support Chess.com Member is an [mod edit: removed - JG]

I am in a strange tournament : Forced mate in 1 where there are 2 players per groups and after the first move from white, black is checkmate which ends the game.

Because there is no tie-break, if both players moved when they are playing white, both are passing to the next round. If one player timed out, only one player pass to next round.

No rating is changing, as in each game, no players have made enough moves.

Here is first why I had asked Support 9 month ago where a very cool competent Support Chess.com Member replied to me with two Emails :

Followed by that one (I have put around a Red box what is important)

===========================================================

Last week, round 268, ratings begun to change and in round 269 same problem, and the pairing groups are made with the higher rated against the lower rated, the balance for the higher rated is negative and the lower rated positive.

So I asked a Help & Support Chess.com Member for fixing what is a bug for me, but I received an [mod edit: removed insulting language - JG] Support Chess.com Member which didn't even look at the problem replying :

This was his 2nd reply :

I replied staying calm :

I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT WITH WITHDRAW OR IF I DON'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT ???

THE TOURNAMENT HAS BEGUN 9 MONTH AGO AND WE ARE FROM 250 PLAYERS ONLY 11 LEFT.

I WANT YOU TO FIX THE BUG THAT BEGUN AT ROUND 268 !!!

I WANT YOU TO CORRECT MY RATING THAT IS LOSING AT EACH ROUND RATINGS !!!

Round 268    +4/-10 = -6

Round 269    +4/-11 = -7

Round 270    +4/-11 = -7

Round 271    +4/-11 = -7

Round 272    +4/-11 = -7

Total lost : 34 points in 3 days

=======================================================

I have stayed five days calm, but what can I do when a Help & Support Chess.com Member is an [mod edit: removed insulting language - JG] ? continuing staying calm ?

What should I do ? round 273 already begun.

Tell support 🤣🤣🤣

Lagomorph

I would love to know why this is worth a nanosecond of my time.

ps. calling support idiots is generally not the best way to proceed.

This_Cruel_Moon

if you get a support that doesn't truly understand your question/problem, you ask them again nicely, explaining the problem and their misunderstandings. Don't be a spoiled brat and call them an idiot when they make mistakes; we all do at one point or another.

You shouldn't have played in such a silly tournament. I think you should apologise for saying that about the support person. Delete this post and apologise to them directly.
