Why am I getting users that have played 30,000 to over 100,000 games played? Am I being tested for something?

ChessPiecesMoving

One player has an account from 2012 with 6,000 total games. The next on the list has 119 games. I am not seeing over 30,000.

You played multiple games with someone with 7,500 games. Their account is from 2013.

No, you aren't being tested for anything. The pairing system just happens to match you with those players. happy.png

My 10,000th game is today. Thank you chessdotcom and all the good sports I have played.

Time to block all these users with high games played working for chess.com.

Hello - I've been on Chess.com for a decade and I'm an Admin. (just not here...)

So...you do realize that pairings are based on rating... not # of games played right ?!

Diosarmy

Yes, I know that, but I also know that you are tested by other users ( working or volunteering) for chess.com  to see if your are cheating. That would come from a user usually with alot of games under there belt.

Number of games would have absolutely nothing to do with that, if it was being done.

Here is my point, check out this game I just finished playing. Mind you the user has over 128,000 games played. After I make my final move of the game with my bishop, he resigned. Why would he resign in that position? Cause its like I've been saying the whole time, they are checking your game for cheating.

I'm sry, I haven't  figured out how to paste the game here but it was vs

Maybe something came up or they didn't evalute the position correctly. I'm very certain it isn't what you're suggesting and a partial game would not generate the needed certainty for detection, even if it is being done

He immediately went to another game

Ok, I'm done with this !!
