WHY DOES CHESS.COM NOT HAVE EN PASSANT!!

Chess.com certainly has en passant. What happened to cause you to think otherwise? Can you post the game?

I think he was bored and decided to troll about this topic in a different way than the usual.

I am going to 'en passant' on your opinion as written in the first two sentences (i.e. let your opinion pass). Surely chess.com allows en passant as a legal move.

Find one such en passant move on chess.com if you can. Clue: It is not far from this text.

It may not say en passant in the notation but it is indeed en passant.

Here, I am dedicating this one puzzle for you.

We all have a natural tendency to place blame outside of ourselves.

Instead of asking "How do I do X on chess.com?", people ask "Why does chess.com not allow X?".

FIrst things first, are you fully aware of what en passant is? To test your understanding, identify all the situations below which allow for en passant after Black's second move.

Chess.com does have en passant

Please find the game in your archives and show us. Congratulations on your chess title. Are you a Grandmaster now?

I suspect that it is the game below that our budding master was confused about:

33. c4 he could have played en passant but chose 33...Qa1+

After 34. Kd2, he thought he could play en passant, taking  34...bc

He just either forgot, or did not know  that the right to take en passant is only available on the immediate next more. I imagine  it is the first one, because this 800 player is GETTING A TITLE. 

Since you have only played 6 games here, it should be easy for you to find and show us, if it is not the position above.

Do tell us! What is this chess title that you are receiving, and when did you earn it?

I don't think that you should be so disrespectful of a titled player rated almost 800. 

We are in the presence of greatness, and I let my awe of the titled player and his stunning play carry me away. My deepest apologies.
