My friends and I recently picked up chess and we're still learning about the game.
We do have a friend who is 2,000+ elo in chess.com and he's very eager to teach us about it.
He had us play against each other for fun so he can tell us what we should and shouldn't be doing. Then one of us asked him if he'd play us and he did.
2 games in and his account got permabanned. What? Are we not allowed to play with higher elo friends??? He's also very confused and frustrated as well.
For the record, he's ranked very high in Thailand and is also a CM so he's definitely legit.
We tried contacting support but received no answer.
Can we get some help?
Accounts don't get banned for playing friends, so there must be another reason.
However, only the account owner can appeal an account closure, no one else can do it for them.
