I had a second account once, I was given a notice and closed it. I guess those people just ignored it. If they had no second account, then Jm9966 is right. My second account, by the way, is @TheLastBlackPawn

Also, chess.com mods usually message you and warn you and stuff.
Unless you cheat. I assume if they catch you cheating your account is just instantly closed with no warning.
though im confused because it says account closed because inactive but once i wasn't on for 4 months and i did'nt get banned

Some bans are more or less arbitrary, with no real public reasons. People will occasionally get 'closed' for inactivity or swearing.
Accounts don't get closed for inactivity. Most closures are for abuse of some type (TOS violations).

Other than cheating, it seems like people get plenty of warnings to improve/ behave. One time I said a word in proper context, but it is also a racist term. When I said it in the chat, the comment didn't show up. I sent it again, it never showed up. There was really nothing wrong with what I was saying, then I got a warning for language or something. I assume it was a bot or something sending it, because I hope an intelligent human being could see the difference in using the term the way I was using it and using it in a racist manner. I didn't even think of it being a racist word until this happened. I was talking about the candidates and said would might get a ch____ in his armor if he loses. Weird situation, but I would never want to offend anyone, so I'm glad that stuff works like that, although yesterday there was a forum post using the full N-word and it allowed it, so who knows.
