Do you accept parents? Or perhaps pets? What about my siblings? I'll give you a good deal, promise!

haha, yeah.... I almost agree. at least on the siblings. I've got two annoying brothers....

but, I almost agree with TK. My thing more or less is, I'm about to start college... I don't really have the money to spare. But, I'm very gracious to you for allowing people to play for free, like myself. Thanks a bunch!

What is the cost for a lifetime membership?
RedSoxpawn
Too much
craftysusie
Check it out yourself, Lifetime membership is just under $500 and you get a large diamond by your username   Wink  http://www.chess.com/membership.html

I told you it was too much, unless you want to help chess.com go on forever and not have to worry about repaying your membership everyear
EagleHeart
How long has chess.com been in operation? What is the outlook for continued future operation?
RedSoxpawn
it has been online since last June as far as I can tell, and the outlook is to be the best chess website on the web also from what I can tell
Quaff
Yes, I joined in June 2007 and the membership then was only in the hundreds, and there was no online/turn based chess. I know I was one of the 1st from the UK to join. The site has come a long way since then to be one of the best available in my opinion.

Funnily enough, basic annual membership now costs about a pony.
