Usually, the challenger has already found a match, and the game has already begun by the time you click on the challenge. You have to click on it the moment it appears, or it is too late; the game has already started, and you have to find another challenge, unless it uses an uncommon time control like 60 minutes or 120 minutes, which usually takes a very long time to find a match for.

I'm unable to accept the vast majority of open challenges, and clicking on them creates the notification: "You cannot accept this challenge at this time"
I've searched elsewhere on the forum and can't find a suitable answer. I haven't received any notification about aborting too many games (I don't think I do), I've tried clearing the cache...not really sure what the next step is.
