If you want a specific game against someone can't you challenge them if they are friended or send them a challenge?

They used to have that feature... they removed it because it caused problems. The staff explained those problems and solicited member feedback so they could come up with good alternatives for Live Chess 2.0 in another thread.

Yes, a new and better version of the Live Chess will be coming soon with something similar to what you suggest.

Why can't there be a list of all the people who are on live chess? You could just click them and play against them. This live chess is a lot more complicated. You have to do a lot of stuff to be able to play a chess game against people. I like this way, but there can be an easier way. Maybe they can change it. Like they say, we have not finished improving live chess.
