if I were to make a second account and play an unrated game with myself, would I get banned?

I want to play against chatGPT suggesting moves but I'm not sure if this is allowed.

To create a second account you need staff approval or risk account closures:

i have an approved alt but i dont know if its supposed to give me a badge or something

You can use pass-and play out the analysis board to play against yourself.
