Can we play Chess with bet? like every 5 or 10 minutes game we can challenge the other player to bet at least $1 per game who ever will win got the $1 dollar via paypal. Player must have a paypal account.

If you have your oponents telepone number it would work otherwise I DONT know how it would work==any sugestions

basically on the other side of the game board there is a chat portion where we can talk and have a deal other wise you can add your opponent as friend where in we can view their profile. It's a fun game but it would be more challenging if we bet at least $1.. hehehehe

I think they wanted to make chess.com a fun place for learning, not involving money. I agree abracax.

you guys are mostly a premium member, so you played with good players just like your selves. So far as a member having a full access are you really get to play with sweat forehead?

Well, that would be really dumb. I play against you via internet. You have rybka, houdini and fritz. I lose money. This is chess sir, not poker. Want to play for money? Become good enough to be paid in tournaments for showing up.

I think playing for money would be a fun option for this site. I believe there is at least one website where betting is allowed. I haven't visited that site for some time so I don't know if they still allow playing for money. There could be legal problems involved that's why they don't want to do it on this site.  I know the feds have closed down many of the gambling sites--poker and casino games--there used to be on the internet. Maybe someone should move to Costa Rica and set up a gambling site and include chess.

Yes. It will be a good investment to by the best version of the best chess engine. Then it does not work on internet, only in OTB chess.
