You cannot change to a username that existes, even If the account was deleted :/
Dude if said the same thing to me
So I signed out,signed in,deleted all my game history, and BAM! my new username!

I cant change to my previous account. I least I couldnt after deleting it... maybe I had to wait for a few days... will try again and tell you

When i try to change my username it says to avoid confusion i cant change my username while using live chess(i dont).Help plz???
