how to find friend

Hi guys , i want to play my brother who is in another country which is my main reason for joining as we have an ongoing battle against each other , we both have a lot of rivalry over the chess board. how do we find each other and connect to a live game , we are both members on the site ? any help would be appreciated .

yes i know his username , but when i type it in the find a friend section it does not come up !!!
