The following is a message from Kenilworth Chess Club President Jack McCorkell regarding the COVID protocols to be in place at the KCC:

"As we are all aware, the current majority of our members are senior citizens, some of whom are quite vulnerable, therefore, i.e. - until our Federal CDC gives up the ghost, we will be adopting all current practical anti-covid precautions, including mandatory mask wearing and cautionary distancing between our chess tables. So, bring your masks. If you arrive but had forgotten your mask, I have already stocked our chess cabinet with both adult and children sized masks.

PS – At your earliest convenience, please bring a photocopy of your vaccination card or receipt to one of your upcoming attendances. We haven’t been asked for them, but it would be better to be prepared in advance in case such a request arises. In lieu of remembering to bring a copy, you can scan and email me a copy at jackmccorkell@prodigy.net. Note - If your circumstances make it impractical to provide a photocopy or a scan. The State of NJ maintains a database wherein vaccination records can be alternately confirmed."
