2100 Puzzle Rating!

I Reached 2100 today in Puzzles!

I reached 2000 November 20, 2020. Two months to gain 100, is that good?

The day I got my platinum membership my puzzle rating increased by like 300 or 400 I think

but for a person who doesn't have a membership, good job! Only doing 5 puzzles a day is tough

I only can do five a day and I don't usually do it everyday...

I once had diamond and I had that same experience.  spending hours on 100s of puzzles I was able to go 300+ I can't do that with 5 puzzles, though

I got 2000 to 2100 in the same day lol

two months to gain 100 without membership is good btw I got 2000 in like 3 months and then 2100 and then 2200 on the same day and then titled and then went back up like 3 times...thenI'm here now at 2100

Oh, and you think that is big. My highest puzzle rating is 2100+ but my highest rapid rating is less than 1400. My stats say it all.

Above 3000 is when the puzzles get insane. You have to avoid the tempting moves and look for these ridiculous quiet moves. Also the final position is totally unclear in a lot of cases, so even if you do manage to calculate deeply, you need the skill of being able to evaluate the resulting position.

In the 1500-2200 range, most puzzles are just sac-sac-mate. They're usually pretty obvious thematic sacrifices, or they involve some kind of double attack (eg. threaten a piece + threaten mate at the same time). The final position is also super clear in what you're trying to achieve.

The 2200-3000 range has kind of a mix of both. Some quiet moves, some flashy sacrifices. Usually there's a decent amount of calculation required for these puzzles, but the final solution is mostly pretty clear once you spot it.

2200 now!

I was playing on lichess and just yesterday I got a rating of 2000
Now I am 2100!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit-My account on lichess is PlayerGamesPro and I don't usually play on chess.com sometimes for bullet since here many removes can be done

Congrats, 2100 is nice. You're all on fire! I achieved 2500 a few days ago. Kudos to Deranged for his comment.
