It is easier to solve than to explain how it happens. Perhaps the knowledge of two typical constructions in chess composition helped for this case.
Can you solve this - mate in 2?

Looks like a professional composition as it features a theme from that domain - the starflights. After the first move the black king has 4 diagonal flight (escape) squares looking like the twinklings of a star. It is followed by four different checkmate moves!
Solving professional puzzles is not always hard but often aesthetically rewarding!
How about a easy mate in 2:
For a moment I thought I recognized a GM-game and then I saw the Ogres on a1 and h1

It was in an newspaper marked as very easy. Now I doubt this, as I have 50 moves options and the one that does the trick is not intuitive... for me - (elo1200).
Now I want to learn -can you please tell me what is your thought process, how to come to the solution? Is it just raw calculation of all 50 options - or can you exclude some of them?
