I've eaten Nepalese food at Diwali, invited by a couple of Ghurkas that I was working with. It was a "Thank you" for helping them with their English. Lots of courses, lots of Whiskey and lots of short plays, performed in front of a painted Everest backdrop. I hadn't expected the female characters to be played by male soldiers, coconut shells strapped to their chests. An enjoyable, if somewhat surreal evening.
