Not getting anywhere with this, sadly. In a game this is the point where I'd say to myself "you've looked at bxg7+ for far too long, just play Rg1 and get it over with"
Times Chess Puzzle

Its tricky but if white plays Qg6 he threatens mate in one by Qxa6 mate.
So--- 1)Qg6 Rxd1+ 2) Kg2 Rd2+ 3) Kh3 now black must loose the rook and he has no defence.
To see this in a OTB play would take a most exceptional player.
Just trying out my newly set up chess set with this problem. Not sure of the coordinates as am a bit of a novice, but isn't Q to f4 (one square to the right) an inevitable win? Sorry if this sounds stupid.

1. Qf4 doesn't work because Black has 1...Rxd1+ 2. Kg2 Kh7 3. Qe4+ g6
Saw this puzzle in 'The Times' earlier this morning. Thought I would post it here to see people's opinions on it.
