A Cringe Horror Story that I Wrote

                                                                          The Face

You are surrounded by complete darkness. Even your mind are void at this moment. You are
standing but you feel like you're lying down. At some distance away, you see a circular shape
slowly taking form. One by one, the features appear inside it. The thick eyebrows, the dark eyes, the nose and the lip. You realize it's someone's face, but without a body. You close your eyes
and rub them hard. When you open them again, you still see the face. But this time it's only
inches away from you. Little by little, it's lip starts to curl up. It's smiling at you.

  You wake up and find yourself screaming . After a long time, you finally realize it was a
dream. You quickly get off the bed and rush to the bathroom. You turn on the faucet and splash
your face with cold water. You keep doing it for about five minutes. Finally you stop and turn off
the faucet. You look up and notice the old and rusty mirror that you see everyday. But this time,
you can't see your reflection. You can't see anything except darkness, the familiar darkness in
your dream. Then, slowly, the oval shape starts to form in the center of the mirror. Inside the
oval shape the eyebrows appear, then the eyes, then the nose, and finally the lip that begins to
smile.

  Screaming insanely, you hurl the mirror to the floor. After it shatters to hundreds of
pieces, everything seem to be turning darker, even the sky that is shown through the window.
Now all you can see is the darkness, the black void that was in your dream and in the mirror you
have just broken.

  You hear yourself breathing heavily. Your breathing seem to be the only thing that exist
at this moment, everything else, your surrounding, your body, and your memories seem to have
fade away. But then you suddenly stop breathing, because you hear someone else's breathing.
It comes from behind you. You turn around and see it. Only inches away from you, the familiar
face grins at you.

That is very scary . . .
