Ah, I’ve seen some of these posts before, and they never fail to make me laugh. I guess they think the Reddit community has all of the answers.

Most of the stories are fake, by a large margin.
Right.. hi team, I hope y’all are doing good, hope ur day is going well.. today I’m going to share some of the AITA stories I’ve found on Reddit. If you don’t know what AITA is, it’s basically Am-I-The-As*h*le. People post their problems or situations and ask the users of Reddit if they are, you guessed it, the a-hole in said problem or situation. Right, let’s go. Oh, uh, none of these stories are MINE. If I knew the op user I would say it, but I honestly don’t know.
1. AITA for making a white woman cry?
OP girl was about 20, and is black. She has very curly hair and while she was walking home from buying hair products an older white woman (about 60) tugs her hair sharply. The op turns around and looks at the woman, who says ‘I just wanted to see how soft it is’. The op who was already in a bad mood, yells ‘does it look like I have a f*ck*ng petting zoo sign taped to my back?!’ The woman starts to cry, and op is wondering if she is TA.
My opinion: No, NTA. Regardless of race, gender etc nobody should think it’s ok to touch a strangers hair without permission, especially tugging it like that. The op’s response was honestly very valid, I would have done the same 😅
2. AITA for making a joke about my GF’s friend?
The op is a 20-ish man with a girlfriend roundabout his age. His GF has a group of friends, and she dislikes one of them because she badmouths others. A girl in the group invites the GF and BF to her birthday party at a restaurant. The badmouth girl is there also, sitting across from them at the table. Anyway, when they order, the GF gets seafood and white wine while both the BF and badmouth girl get the same thing, a red wine and steak. Then BF makes a joke saying ‘wow, I picked the wrong girl’. The GF is upset with him but he thinks she’s overreacting? is he TA?
My opinion: YES. His GF said in the past she dislikes the girl, for a good reason. It was a stupid insensitive thing to say.
