Here's a story from a few years ago:
I decided to go back to school at 60 years old. I signed up for a computer course at our local community college. It was a full-time course, with a full load of courses including Interpersonal Communication.
Our IC professor arranged for a different guest speaker to show up at the college each week. These "guest speaker" classes were held during lunch hour, in the auditorium... so we had to attend them on our own time and eat our lunches while listening to the guest speaker.
The professor rarely showed up for these extra classes, so instead of taking attendance he had each speaker pass out a hand-out (usually a brochure or pamphlet) and we would sign our copy of the hand-out and drop it off in the professor's mailbox outside his office.
One week our guest speaker was lecturing on STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) and the hand-out was a condom. We each signed our condom and dropped it off in the professor's mailbox.
At the end of the school day, the professor opened his mailbox, loaded all the condoms into his briefcase (so that he could "take attendance" later, at home) and headed home.
He always takes a brisk walk around the block before supper to build up an apatite; and while he was out his wife decided to unpack his briefcase for him. She reached into her husband's briefcase and pulled out a condom, signed with a woman's name. Mystified, she reached in again and came out with another condom, this one signed with a man's name. She turned the briefcase upside down and shook it, and condom after condom slid out and wiggled and jiggled on the floor... each one neatly signed.
When her husband got back from his walk, he had some explaining to do.
