Coding is not all about typing syntax. Coding/Programming is learning how to solve a problem and organize procedural actions to achieve the desired result. The knowledge of logic and efficiency is much greater than knowing the syntax of every language that's out there. 
Scratch is just an educational program designed to prepare aspiring programmers for the real deal. It introduces things like variables and loops early on which is really helpful. It's really good for newcomers.
But you do all that by typing syntax
OP, you know people coded scratch, right?
But I do get what your saying. However, the way OP is conveying his message gives off a hint of arrogance in my opinion
