Call of Duty - Modern Warfare

Hello all.

I'm a bit confused about the Call of Duty games. I have Call of Duty 2 and enjoy playing it on PC. 

What is the newest CoD game available? Is it CoD Modern Warfare 2? I heard something about CoD 6 I believe? 

Will the newest CoD game be easily played on a lap top?

I have a ps3 and the newest one is COD 4: Modern Warfare 2.

COD 6 is COD Modern Warfare 2.  It's the 6th COD game.  The 2nd Modern Warfare.  Activision does the COD games, but there are 2 software companies who make the game.  One does the oldstyle war and the other does the modern stuff.

Ahhh the sweet sweet care package.  The other day I called in 2 on top of each other, I knew someone would cap me before I got to them.  As predicted I got shot in the back but as the greedy beggar stood there trying to steal my 1st care package the 2nd landed on his head.  I had to run from my respawn point to see it, just got there in time.  That's the funniest thing that's happened all week. 

MW3 tonight at midnight.  11-8-11 is here, brother.

I just wish it weren't so expensive :(
