You go away from the puzzle. If you type something or go into chat mid-way through solving puzzle it’s going to reset. Just like it did for me just now posting this.

Did you make the moves yet for the puzzle?
One you finish setting up the position, you hit “moves”. Once you make the moves for the puzzle, then you hit theme, then hit the option for puzzle.
