I have to make a confession..im not really small, round and fluffy. I stole this pic from googling " fat hamster". I dont recognise these photos but i think you can instantly tell the fake photos as they are too professional looking.
Fake photos on profiles

As a person with few details on my account, an international flag, and a fake profile picture I say this from the deepest cockles of my heart: get over it, you whiner.

True, they are obviously professionally done, unlike the grainy selfies that are usually used on profiles.

Thank you for your considered input. A true loss to the diplomatic service.

I really hate fake profiles and even more so ones that use pretty woman as their pictures. I had started a thread on it some time ago (http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/chesscom-users-should-be-required-to-use-real-names) but it seems like most chess.com users could not be bothered to care about this. We need to adopt a policy of users being required to use their real legal names!

Apparently that is not your real photo, so this could be either an ironic post or a case of plain trolling. The jury is out.

Now, Absolut, that is a fake-fake vodka.
As one who regularly uses an octopus as his profile pic, you are in no position to cast stones. Flinging calamari would be more appropriate.

I must admit mine is a fake, 'cause I'm old and ugly. My country is a fake too, because if i say I'm french everybody is laughing at me, i dunno why, I prefer incognito from an unknown disappearing Island.
C'est pas moi pour l'ile, Msieu, it is Kaynight who did it first. Samoa, my ..head, he is irish, north irish, .. hahaha or south!! pareil nicola is the boss there !!!! !
Best regard dear Monsieur the Chair Esq., very interesting subject, the Yard is still the best for quick inquiries, his Her Majesty's chief detective inspector superintendant constabulary is efficient with courtesy but solid in his shoes, stright in his bottle, and using deduction, scientific police methods and "little cellules grises", as says my Aunt Agatha. Kisses to Mrs winnifred Moneypenny, Gaawd bless her on two chicks, ooops cheeks !! pardon me my french.
Serviteur Mr The Chair
Hercule Poirot.
PS I say hello to RomeoJulietCharlie his pic' is real i swear, drums inside head too.

I should point out that the chair in my pic is not me either, nor is it anyone I have killed and butchered in my basement. Before anyone asks.

Don't see any problem if You don't use it to hook up or trick someone. If i use a picture of Sean Connery it doesn't mean i'm James Bond

I assumed you had done it in the forest.

Of course not, he isn't James Bond either.
There seem to be no shortage of fake accounts on this site, and anyone who has been here for a while will most likely have encountered several of these. Usually they are quite short on detail, with "international" given as the country of origin, and have a glamour model photo posted to attract the maximum attention. Usually these do not last more than a few days, and when they are closed it's normal to see new ones spring up to take their place.
What is unusual is to find that a long-established member appears to be using fake pictures on their profile, presumably to attract attention. TOS rules forbid me from naming one particular individual, but I have here some photos which have been used on that person's profile page, which should be recognisable by her friends and acquaintances.
A quick google image search reveals that these are in fact pictures of instagram model Eke De Haan, quite a different name to that being used by the individual in question. This member is an admin and SA in several groups, as well as a prolific blogger on this site.
It may be that there is an innocent explanation for this, in which case I apologise in advance to this member and invite them to come on to this thread and explain and defend their use of these photos. And I invite other members of this site to comment on and discuss the morality of using another person's identity to promote one's profile.
