I don't know how you can mistake "PrinceLegolas". For one, Legolas was a guy (really cool one too). Two, Prince means son of a king.

Hmm. Good question. Well. I do agree with you on some parts of this. I think maybe some of them are afraid to show what they really look like because they may fear what people might think or say. Other people might just like to trick people into believing they are something that they aren't in order to get them later by mocking them.
Me, personally, it took a great deal of courage for me to show my true self on here lol. I think that it is mostly a comfort zone for people.
