I predict and hope that Bernard Sanders will be the next US President, interested to hear the thoughts of Americans on here or anyone else
I thought political debates weren't allowed in "Off Topic".

Oh really! My mistake then. I’ve moved the thread to Game Analysis instead.

haha
I support General Grant for president.
I'm not sure if there's any forum here where politics is allowed.

Sure Phil, just like Jelly the cuddly comrade did so well in December in the UK.
Now if Donald and Bernie were told the Presidency would be decided by a Chess match between them in October, they would both have six months to learn the game to GM standards.

There’s no comparison with the UK election since it was dominated by Brexit with Labour ignoring every vote to leave the EU.
Corbyn was a nice man and well-intentioned but a very weak leader, Sanders is strong and building mass support with donations flooding in. Just like Trump last time he’s an outsider but offering universal healthcare and standing up for workers instead of promising Mexico would pay for a wall which never happened.
He's probably a marbles player, that very-stable-genius doesn't have time for checkers.
How many bots do you think will populate this thread? Ha!

I heard he used to be until he lost them.
Boy I sure hope the Burn doesn't get it. I'm a conservative U.S. citizen and I try to pay attention to both Republican media (which is super scarce) and Democrat media (which is worldwide everywhere).
In general, a lot of us feel like almost all politicians are slime. Democrat politicians use lies and confusion to bully their opponents, while Republican politician are spineless molds of jelly... scared to death they'll lose one of their houses in the mountains, on the lake, or at the beach... these fools protest against the Democrats just barely enough to keep them (the Republicans) in their offices, while giving the Dems inch after inch of what they want.
Tempted to vote Trump in every selection. State governor?? Trump. President?? T-rump.... King of the world?? TRIUMPH!
Bernie is a crackpot. That's why I'm voting for him in the primary election.
An anarchist?
I'm really starting to believe it should just go as follows: 4 (or 8) years with a Dem and then 4 (or 8) years with a Republican.
For one thing, that's how it seems to go anyway.. And another is that we'd all hear a lot less crying from a massive low-information and high-impulsivity crowd. So the only arguing would come down to just WHICH Dem or Repub we'd elect...
