Our daugher for some reason decided to memorize the first 100 numbers lol.
My brothers teacher had beef with pi, like he kept going on about how 2pi(I forgot the name buts that what it basically was) was where pi came from and that pie is overrated and they should use the other number
I only memorized the first 14 digits of Pi. 
There is a Google Easter egg, where you type "Pi" into the search engine and click on the symbol in the corner to play a sort of Pi Simon Says game. I think my high score is 22 on that so far.

It was yet another boring math class, when I noticed a corny cartoon in the mathbook. It depicted a quarterback and a center, with the quarterback reciting pi endlessly, finally giving up and remarking to the center "well it was your idea to snap the ball on pi!" The text bubble had about 250 letters, and since math is so boring, I memorized them all in about a week.

It wasn't very funny and I explained it poorly, but the idea is that the ball will never get snapped because pi never ends.
Happy pi day! I say "better" bc 22/7 is a better rational approximation to pi than 3.14
