Help! I’m drowning in quicksand!

“Though”, not “tho”. Don’t be stupid.
To die in quicksand because it solidifies is highly unlikely. As mentioned before, it is easy to escape quicksand. Besides, when quicksand dries out it does not solidify as concrete does. Those in it will find themselves lying atop mud, clay, or sand.

Don’t worry. I am not drowning in quicksand. The reason that you were worried is because Hollywood has conditioned many people to believe that quicksand is a mercy less death trap.
The truth is, so few people lose their lives in quicksand that there is no solidly documented number on how many people have died because of quicksand. While it can be a nuisance, quicksand is easily escapable. This is because quicksand is denser than the human body. People and animals can get stuck in it, but they don’t get sucked down to the bottom—they float on the surface. Our legs are pretty dense, so they may sink, but the torso contains the lungs, and thus is buoyant enough to stay out of trouble.
You are full of interesting facts - you should audition for JEOPARDY!

Wait, so quicksand isn't dangerous? This is most disappointing.

Didn't mythvusters already cover this ages ago, thought this was common knowledge by now
Neat show but I never got into it.
Did you watch it a lot? If so, you'd be able to answer your own question better than I. And in that case, why ask about that show at all except to see who has/has not watched the episode you’re asking about?
