Microsoft Edge has climbed to 3rd position in browser market share overtaking Firefox. We, Firefox folks, need to stick together now. Firefox really needs more adoption. It's a shame that everything is chrome based nowadays.

If you don't value privacy at all, you might be right. I've been with Firefox for many years, but even that one is getting a little suspect. I guess it's time for me to check out a few others. Here's a video from "Switched to Linux", who does value privacy:

(Notice that Google Chrome isn't even on his list, although UnGoogled Chromium is on the list.)

The TLDR version of the video is:

1.) LibreWolf
2.) Ungoogled Chromium
3.) Brave
4.) Vivaldi
5.) Firefox

Ha, I just finished installing LibreWolf and Ungoogled Chromium. I need to do some more tweaking, but they both look good. I think LibreWolf may be my new default browser. :-)

Personally, I wouldn't touch Opera with a 10-foot pole.

The video is 1-1/2 years old, but I have no reason to believe anything has changed for the better with Opera.

Guess I'll have to say goodbye to FIrefox and say hello to LibreWolf after all...

I'm really liking LibreWolf. I installed the flatpak in Linux Mint via the Mint Software Manager.

I did notice one thing that I didn't like much. When you open the browser, it isn't full screen - It's slightly reduced in size (about the size of the Tor browser, if you're familiar with Tor). I sort of got tired of continuously having to make it full screen. Now, I'm just using it with the smaller size, and I'm getting used to it.

You *can* force it to open in full screen, if you want to. You can go into the "about:config" settings and change "privacy.resistFingerprinting" from true to false.
