Woolly is totally immune to this addiction ! ......I don’t play much chess , and the forums are a mild source of entertainment for me .
My main purpose of being on this site, is to act as a moral booster to all the members, and to help them recover from their addiction , and also to help bring them back to the real world once more , and to face the reality that they will in all probability, never make it too that glorious position of becoming a GM ! ......most likely they will be doomed to remain a patzer . This is where Woolly steps in , to help them recover from this disastrous knowledge, that they are now faced with .

I know for a fact that I will never be a GM.
But I'm having fun just the same.

My appearance on this site, was the result of a cry of help from a dear friend, who happened to be a member of this site . She was like so many other members, totally addicted to chess.com . I agreed to set up a decontamination program for her .

I am addicted to chess and forums more than anyone probably and I need help
This relates to all aspects of the site including playing, talking in forums etc.
I'm giving myself a rating of 8/10.
Due to playing games way into the night. Lying to myself that I'll just play one game.
Raging over my ratings going down.
Envy of those with higher ratings.
Excessive posting in forums (ok not as much as some) to the point of embarrassment, yet still posting more!
At one point my hand was cramping I was playing chess here so much.
Tell your addiction rating. And feel free to overshare.
Or you could ask people to role play role play role play.
