Like I’ve said before they are simply things we don’t understand, it maybe something scientific, maybe it’s because people see and here things when they are scared and in the dark, happened to me last night, I was
Going down stairs to eat leftover pizza at like 1am and I thought it I saw something turn the corner in the corner of my eye, but it was just my eyes playing tricks on me this happens to lots of people all the time, and people convince themselves they saw a ghost and spice up the story to make it interesting, although to your point there is a possibility that they are real, and we just don’t have a scientific explanation for it, but there is an explanation if they are real, but it’s unlikely, once again people make things up to explain things they don’t understand. There isn’t any actual proof to any side of the argument so that doesn’t prove anything, I’m just saying,
Things aren’t true until they are proven true, so until ghosts are scientifically proven to exist with factual undeniable evidence, I will continue to doubt they existence, you can’t prove your right, so you’ve kind of shot your self in the foot there’s more proof ghosts aren’t real than there is for them being real, ghosts stories don’t count as evidence, most of those are made up to get attention or are just people seeing things in the dark, and hearing things that aren’t actually there, which is a sign of a healthy brain, look it up, so I can’t fully prove they aren’t real but my side of the argument has for more proof,
Facts, and logic than your does, so I’d like to see you try and prove their existence to me,

Your eyes playing tricks on you makes you think one thing is something else until you look at it but its hard to mistake a shadow for a glowing ghost, especially if it makes noise luke crying. If people wanted attention they could just get it like the weather balloon incident

Besides that jerry guy had a friend who saw mary too. Her first appearance was at a ball so tons of people saw her
