i think they have to join from the e-mail link you give them... they probably signed up by going to the site directly (i'm assuming) & so, you didn't get credit for it.

there's another award for if they upgrade after you sign them up (vip referrer?)... pretty sure YOU can't upgrade them for it to work.

if you did everything right contact support & they will help you.  please click on my blog if this helped you out (there's a hidden 'good read' achievement if one of your blogs hits 100 views).  i did the same for your blog.  🙂
