Dont focus on the puzzles you get right, but focus on the puzzles you get wrong. Every single 3 minute puzzle rush is an opportunity to discover 3 puzzles which you don't know. Go over the ones you get wrong and do everything you can to ensure that If they come up again you will solve them correctly. Over time you will slowly increase your bank of patterns and get higher and higher scores.
learn French Defense theory and u should be fine

Just Grind + Redo the themes you get wrong hundreds of times
It worked for me. I would recommend reading @logoczar's puzzle rush experiment as well.
