Thanks for the post Cottonsock. Yes the Mini-Moke is a very cute little machine. I've only seen them on TV and in magazines but they look like a lot of fun.
I once had a Borgward !
Another cute little machine that I had long ago was a 1960 DKW Auto Union Station-wagon. These vehicles had a 3 cylinder motor and were FWD. They were also a 2 stroke design so I usually carried along at least I quart of motor-boat oil. The layout of the DKWs was basically the same as the 1950s Saab cars.
--- Going way back to around 1960 the DKW Company also produced a very nice little sports car ( their 1000sp model ) that was based on the 1955 - 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Of course the DKW car was somewhat smaller than the Ford, very nice looking tho.
Another rare little machine that I once owned from back in the 1960s was a NSU Prinz. A small 2 cylinder car that could transport 4 people, a handy little vehicle.
