Is it socially acceptable to say “hail hydra”?

So first of all the reason I’m asking this on a chess.com post is because I saw a post on this same off-topic thread titled “Hail hydra” wherein all the comments and the post itself were those words. Let me preface this again by saying I am NOT a marvel/DC buff and don’t know much other than what I have seen on Wikipedia. Also it is currently 4:24 AM so I apologize if I say something that doesn’t make sense.

We all probably know hydra is/was heavily associated with the nazi party, and was possibly a branch of the German military at the time. The current leader of hydra, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker has a very Germanic name, however, there is some evidence to suggest (I couldn’t find a source on this other than a paragraph on the wikipedia page) that hydra has roots going all the way back to the third Egyptian dynasty, not to mention they have changed from a Nazi organization to a anti-American terrorist organization. Furthermore, it is possible that they were just anti-American from the start or are just a political virus that tried to steer the currently powerful nazi Germany more against America. Maybe they saw America as some sort of threat against their organization (If my Egypt theory is true) which I guess would make it okay to say? Help me out here.

Uh did you watch the captain America movie? Hydra just went nuts and decided to bomb the entire planet. They WE'RE Nazis but then they just went all out... terrorist. When they captured Struckers head scientist, the scientist said that hydras target was everywhere
