Is the Roblox Legend True?

Many of you know the game Roblox, I hope.

There has been a myth about John and Jane Doe, the so-called "first" people to play Roblox. Legend has it that they both left Roblox at the exact date, and time. They left on March 18, the day on which people believe that you should never play Roblox. Many people (YouTubers mainly) want to try to see if this is true. Although John Doe's account says he was online last year, it is said that the account was hacked, by somebody randomly guessing his password.

People say that if you play Roblox on March 18, the day of John and Jane's Doe's disappearance, your account will get hacked, and more likely by the person who hacked John's account.

This myth has been spread to the many players of Roblox, and there have been many warnings. I, specifically, don't know how to react, as I have no way of playing Roblox, but the many who do have the access, are either risking or not.

To the people who so happen to be reading this, what is your thought on this legend/myth? Is it safe to play? If so, then maybe I'll try but being a noob, as those people aren't attacked that often, unlike the big people.

If stories or myths like these are interesting to the community, then I may have a new story, perhaps on the same game, because there are many stories about this game that are waiting to be told to people like you...

I've been on Roblox almost daily for 2 years when I was younger.  Never was hacked.  Haven't logged on in like 5 months tho...

Roblox is the most popular game now.

Thx Checkmate. Just looked at a couple of the March 18 YouTube warnings and most are by little kids, quite humorous it seems. I've never heard of Roblox. It struck me as quite a curious phenomenon. I see now, it's an online multi user game. I was wondering as to the nature of its attraction or perhaps addiction. I love chess, so can relate .

John and Jane Doe are common placeholder names used in legal proceedings when a person's name is unknown or not given permission to be used in court.

Well, apparently it's the names of 2 Roblox accounts.

But, do any of you like these stories?

Roblox is well known where I live, but .io games are played way more. Even unpopular .io games such as diep.io and space1.io are played a lot more than Roblox. According to Google, the most popular game in the USA, and many other countries is slither.io

as for the myth, I believe, but only cause the myth is so popular, hackers will actually purposely try to get on March 18th

for the myth, there's a bunch of things like this. for example, people say that you shouldn't play minecraft at 3:00 AM. most of it isn't true.
