I hope I remember never to sell on ebay again. Nothing but liars and thieves on there. You can't block users with 0 feedback, and sure enough, a user with zero feedback, who began his account the day I listed my item, bought my item and right after receiving it files a refund request due to item not as described.

RIPPED OFF AGAIN - HAVE TO REMEMBER NEVER TO SELL ON EBAY

***NOTE TO SELF***REMEMBER THIS TIME, EBAY IS FOR GETTING RIPPED OFF

Hmm, well millions of people have had other better experiences.

What was it you sold? Did you get the item back?

Android phone that was working fine. He did not even give me a chance, just immediately file the return request, saying it is defective. If I get the same phone back, which is by no means certain, then I'm still out his shipping and my shipping. It is a 100% guaranteed loss, because that is ebay policy on "Item not as described." If he sends me back junk or my own unit damaged, I'm also out the cost of the item.

There's a lesson for all you young liars and thieves. If you want to steal with no repercussions, all you have to do is do it on ebay, you will not get in trouble and there is nothing a seller can do. Why shoplift at Wal-mart and go to JAIL when you can shoplift on ebay and enjoy $$$$ ?

Sorry to hear about that man, i was once the buyer on ebay and i bought some rly expensive shoes, the shoes that came had broken soles, a ripped top and stank. The seller disappeared so I couldn’t get a refund 😭

I'm sure it worked both ways in the past, but now everything is to the buyer. You want $500 shoes? Buy them on ebay, then return a pair of stinko cheapo specials. Presto, free shoes. Simple as that. Ebay forces sellers to roll over and do tricks like that.

Old-Fashioned Shoplifting

Old school thieves GO TO JAIL.

Modern Shoplifting = No Repercussions!

Update - I was correct in my prediction. The buyer is a scammer. He purchase a sim card from Amazon, shipped it to me, then used the tracking number to claim he had returned the item on Ebay.

It remains to be seen whether Ebay will take the side of a seller or a buyer, but honestly I don't have my hopes up. Everything ebay does is slanted toward the buyer, and sellers generally have to eat the cost. Modern day shoplifting.

My plan now is to just sell locally, and things I can't sell locally, throw in the garbage can. Just not worth the waste of time and energy dealing with Ebay anymore.
