Loot boxes in video games?

Sort:
Sobrukai
Many games nowadays are including “loot boxes” (virtual slot machines) where players can spend real money (or in-game currency bought with real money) to purchase a loot box containing random rewards from common the legendary. Some examples would be Apex legends, Old Starwars Battlefront 2, FIFA, and many many more. These loot boxes have stirred up a lot of controversy over the years, seen as a form a gambling that is accessible for anyone, even children. In fact many times these loot boxes are made with the intended audience as children because game developers know they are the easiest target and way to gain revenue. Some kids waste hundreds of dollars (many kids just steal a parent’s credit card) trying to get that legendary skin or heirlooms for their favorite legend. What are your views on loot boxes, and do you think they should be allowed?

Don't worry. Someday when you start going to school, they'll teach you how to read...

Maybe...

(Do schools still do that?)

The devs of such games should be drawn and quartered. (Sorry if I'm being wishy-washy...)
