Phonk is really cool, but i see that a lot of people confuse phonk with the Brazilian funk.
They call it "Brazilian phonk", but it's not phonk, it's funk: completely different things.
Personally i like "Cowbell Cult", a real phonk lol.

I understand, but as a Brazilian I think it's a really cool musical genre, it's part of the hip hop movement and it's very different compared to the other musical genres present in it.
But now you know, Phonk ≠ Funk, The United States takes something that already exists and changes the name completely lol

I think in know this artist, but i also don't know what kind of phonk it is, but my style is cowbell and memphis, but I know there are more, but I don't know how to differentiate them very well

I agree, it's just that the so-called "Brazilian Phonk" is actually not phonk, it's Funk, but I believe the Americans got the name confused
