I love this song, I have never heard it sung with so much feeling as this man. Beautiful. Hope you enjoy it.

I do not. Sorry. However, I have been listening to a little bit of Chris Isaak.

He didn't show up with any shiny decals tonight, but, he still put on a great performance.

#1087 Thanks Sam, nice find. I looked it up Casiopea; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casiopeaa Japanese jazz fusion band formed in 1976, the bassist is Tetsuo Sakurai; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetsuo_Sakurai. I like to give credit to the musicians.

I was looking for a different music list when I found a list of some Blues I liked on an old AOL? channel. Here's one:

#1089 Nice one Eldred.

#1090 Sam nice memories with your grandpa, he started you on good music early.🙂 She's playing left handed.

I started my first private guitar lesson Sunday, never too old (I hope), I would like to play blues/slide guitar along the lines of Justin Johnson #1085 (but not lap steel style), and tunes like Blackbird from the Beatles, Hotel California the Eagles, etc. I learned 3 songs first lesson, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, a Bulgarian folk song and a classical guitar piece...all need work, Lol..🎸😉, but it felt good to be able to play some tunes on guitar!

Don't put it down, all of a sudden your fingers just start working, sort of like a second wind when you run. The concentration it takes gives you a peace of mind.

Eldred_Woodcock

I'm sixty-six and still plan to learn to play piano. I learned Blackbird from a book of Beatles songs arranged for one person to accompany themselves. It sounds good but, from what I've seen of Paul's playing, it's not fingered nearly the same. Maybe I just learned it wrong. I recently decided I'm near the bottom of fair with a guitar. I actually feel pretty good about that. I've been trying to practice every day and it's starting to pay off. I'm almost as good as I was thirty years ago.

It doesn't matter if I'm not much good. It's the enjoyment I get out of it that counts and I get a lot of enjoyment.

Good for you Tour! I hope you enjoy it.

You should start recording your progress. Start with one short video at the end of each week. Eventually you'll be able to post a compilation video for us.

And now, lets all welcome Mr. Yngwie Malmsteen to the show.

Eldred_Woodcock

Yngwie's style isn't to my liking. I almost quit guitar the first time I heard Tommy Emmanuel. I was so despondent because my fingers will never do things like this:
