NPC Music

Seriously, when’s the last time you heard someone say “I’m going to a Maroon 5 concert soon” or “I can’t wait to watch Maroon 5’s new concert.” Probably never, right? So who are all the people in the crowd?

In this forum, I want to briefly talk about what some people would call NPC music. It basically means music your co-workers would listen to, where all the songs sound the same. Examples of “NPC Artists” are Imagine Dragons, Marshmello, and Taylor Swift.

What’s your opinion on this genre of music? Personally, I’m not a big fan of it. All the songs sound mid and I struggle to comprehend how people obsess over people such as Taylor Swift when her music is NOT worth the hype.
