BobbyPhisher960 was closed for "fair play violations" .. i.e. cheating.  Same with KX05.  Both has 2000+ ratings in one or another of the listings, and a gazillion red flags.

I knew KX05 in real life. He is like NM level. I doubt he cheated. RIP to all of these gone posters.

IMs / GMs have been banned for cheating from chess sites before. NM isn't some kind of magical no-cheat title.

@stiggling , I get what you mean but I think he should get a second chance because he could make use of this site to reach higher titles. But yeah, I know how IM's and GM's have been banned from chess.com in tournaments like Titled Tuesday.

Not really. This site (like most chess instruction) is for beginners up through experts.

There are a few books for 2200+ but mostly you have to actually do analysis and work on your own.
