This story has been made into several movies.
"The Last Man on Earth" (1924) - I've never seen this version and the story line isn't quite the same as the others.
"The Last Man on Earth" (1964) - A Vincent Price classic. The first one I'm aware of with the well-known story line.
"The Omega Man" (1971) - A more modern version that follows the same theme with a different twist at the end.
"The Last Man on Earth" (TV Series) - I only saw a couple episodes. It's rated well on IMDB but I found it unwatchable.
"I AM Legend" (2007) - The latest version (that I know of) with Will Smith. Pretty much the same story as "Omega Man" with modern CGI added.

I've also been exploring youtube for music and movies I haven't heard or seen. I haven't done much gaming in the last few years but I did load up a couple old games that I now have to play offline because there are no internet servers for them anymore.
I'm not a very social critter to start with so covid-19 has just given me an excuse to avoid people even further. Other than that not much has changed. Living in the country brings it's own social distancing so kayaking, hiking, camping and just enjoying the outdoors hasn't changed much. Everyone is just a little more careful to keep distances.
Yup an old movie from 1971 with Charlton Heston as one of the last people on the planet due to some side-effects from germ-warfare. At this time we are under an attack from this Corona virus and questions come up about how people spend their time and how they are trying to get thru this mess. So this thread will cover some of the stuff that people are doing to get thru these times. I'm finding my little Laptop is very useful and beside playing games on-line I find that YouTube is a very very good place to visit.
